I made a mask for manual use of the scrubber in the event of power failure or inefficient scrubbing. I bought one of these standard 3M masks and a gas mask hose i got off ebay. I just searched for “breathing hose” or something and it came up as.
“Breathing tube assembly for 40mm NATO Respirators and Blower Units S10 FM12 C50 PAPR” It just looked ok so i bought it and its perfect. The 90 degree elbow at the top swivels so it’s really convenient, plus it’s silicone so really flexible. The mask has rubber valves for inlet and outlet. So you breath in through the filters, and out through the front. Bottom picture shows the cap removed and the valve underneath. |
